A little biography about myself:

• Engineer and writer
• loved programming since I was 12
• implemented the tiniest blockchain in the world from scratch - tinychain
• love distributed systems ever since I was 14
• really interested in understanding the world from an engineering mindset. I love the paper Can a Biologist Fix a Radio? which explains this.
• I speak a few languages: English (native), Dutch, French
• I’ve launched a few products with people:
  • Dappnet
  • Mergeswap - $100K volume
• I’ve gone viral a few times for different things, mainly “build in public”
  • Hacker News - I’m a cyborg now! (On Building My Own Artificial Pancreas)
• Really interested in technology and the future
• More of an artist than a software engineer
  • Love to play piano, dabble in Ableton Live (do not ask about my music career)

Right now I’m super interested in science as the next frontier of what we can do with technology, particularly biology.
