About me.

A little biography about myself:

• Engineer and writer.
• I have loved programming since I was 12.
• Implemented the tiniest blockchain in the world from scratch - tinychain.
• Love distributed systems ever since I was 14.
• Really interested in understanding the world from an engineering mindset. I love the paper Can a Biologist Fix a Radio? which explains this. I have type 1 diabetes and deeply see how doctor’s perceive differently to engineers.
• I speak a few languages: English (native), Dutch, French.
• I’ve launched a few products with people:

• I’ve gone viral a few times for different things, mainly “build in public”:
  • Hacker News - I’m a cyborg now! (On Building My Own Artificial Pancreas)

Right now I’m super interested in science as the next frontier of what we can do with technology, particularly biology.
