About me.

Currently completing How To Grow Almost Anything at MIT — synthetic biology, biological CAD & modelling, DNA design & assembly, genome engineering, CRISPR, protein design, directed evolution, cell-free systems, biomaterials, biosensors, plant & mammalian synthetic biology, biofabrication.
Engineer, founder, and writer. I build things and write about how they work.
A few of them:
- Dappnet — a way to access prohibited apps like Tornado Cash. Covered in The Block.
- An artificial pancreas — I have type 1 diabetes, so I built my own closed-loop insulin system. Written up by Interesting Engineering.
- Mergeswap — launched it; did $100K in volume.
- Ausbuildors — founded and grew it.
I lived in the Netherlands for two years and learnt Dutch.
