Notes on How Elon Thinks About Petrol Cars and Electric Cars

Elon made this terrific point about electric vehicles in an interview:

Imagine if we ran iPhones on combustion engines. How ridiculous would that be?

That’s how we run cars now. They should be run on electricity. It’s a stable current of energy, like a phone battery. Much less stress on the system from unpredictable voltages etc.
